One distinctive of Charles River Church is our partnership with low-income housing complexes. We are committed to serve as the hands of Christ to our community. This year we've set a goal of providing 40 Thanksgiving meals for residents of the Archdale Housing Complex on Washington St. near Forest Hills along with others we are connecting with in the community. We are currently collecting meal items so we can assemble/deliver Thanksgiving meal kits on Sunday, November 20. Here's how to participate: Plan to join us for meal-assembly and delivery on the 20th AND bring grocery items with you to church on Sundays, November 6th & 13th. Grocery Items Needed: -$25 gift that we will use to purchase a turkey and pumpkin pie on packing weekend. -Boxed stuffing -Boxed cornbread mix -Can of jellied cranberries -Tin trays for the turkeys *Only these specific items are needed. **Give to buy a turkey & pie through Charles River Giving and choosing "Thanksgiving Turkeys" via the dropdown menu.
