Josh is the founder and lead pastor of Charles River. In addition to serving the city of Boston, he has a passion to see the spiritual tide turn in New England in his lifetime. Josh has bachelor and seminary degrees in Religion and Church Ministries, and has started ministries for youth and families in urban housing developments along with new churches in Greater Boston. On top of his ministries in Boston, he enjoys traveling to speak across the country with a unique focus on the northeast. Josh and his wife Becky have two sons, Isaiah and Luca and a daughter Norah. He loves investing in next generation leaders, coaching his kids' baseball teams, marathon running and exploring New England. Josh and his family live in the Boston neighborhood of West Roxbury.

Born in Dorchester, Kevin has a deep love for the people of Boston. Today he lives with his wife, Pam and children, Zoe, Levi and Evangeline in East Dedham. He loves working with his hands, playing guitar, and spending time near the water with his family. A graduate of Framingham State and Southern Seminary, Kevin loves helping people understand scripture and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Jua plays an active role in the Boston community. As a trusted faith leader, he serves as team chaplain for the New England Patriots. Additionally he serves as Executive Director of the Boston Collaborative, an organization that connects workplace Christians to each other and to needs within the city of Boston. Jua also volunteers his time on the Greater Things Greater Boston Steering Team and Little Voice Early Learning Center Advisory Board. He’s had the privilege of speaking nationally to churches, with business leaders, and on college campuses including Harvard, MIT, NC State, and the University de Cocody (Cote D’Ivoire), West Africa. His family planted Heart Change Fellowship, a multi-ethnic congregation in Jamaica Plain, MA which merged with Charles River in the Summer of 2018. Jua’s heart is seeing people live passionately for Jesus. He and his wife, Regina, are parents to four energetic children.

Will moved to Boston from UK with his wife, Katie, and two young boys. Now a father of four boys (two Bostonians!), it's needless to say that he leads an "active" life. He teaches at the British International School of Boston while also pursuing a Masters in Divinity at Toronto Baptist Seminary. An avid sports fan, he can engage in robust dialogue about nearly any and every sport. In addition to leading our Chestnut Hill Connection Group and serving as a beloved River Kids teacher, Will cares well for our church family as an elder.

Paul and his family moved to Boston from Sierra Leone, West Africa in 2014. The Coles quickly became active members of our church serving with hospitality teams, shepherding a Connection Group, and leading the way in the ministry of prayer. Paul has a masters of financial management from the London School of Business & Finance and serves as the Director of Finance for a large non-profit on the North Shore. In 2020 he completed the Charles River Church Leadership Fellowship. He lives in Dedham with his wife Daniella and two teenaged children.

From Walpole, Mass, Artis connected with Charles River Church as a student at Bentley University. He quickly joined our worship team, engaged with our discipleship ministries, and then spent a year in our Leadership Fellowship. In addition to leading worship, Artis is a beloved teacher and basketball coach at Boston Trinity Academy.

Bethany, her husband Tanner, and their three children relocated to Boston from Rhode Island, where they were deeply involved in church planting efforts both in the Ocean State and throughout New England. As our River Kids Director, Bethany is passionate about helping children discover and follow Jesus while empowering families to grow and thrive in their faith. The Greens now call the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston home.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Andrew has been with Charles River from the beginning as a freshmen at Bentley University. He has served for several years as a faithful volunteer with our River Kids, spent a summer as an intern, and now serves our ministry team leaders and college ministries. A graduate of Gordon Conwell, Andrew and his wife Marie serve Western Suburb colleges (Bentley, Brandeis, and Lasell) with CRU.

Born and raised in Dorchester, MA, Antoine is Boston through and through. Having served in almost every capacity as a church member, he began sensing God's call on his life for pastoral ministry. He pursued that call and recently completed a Masters of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary on top of working full time in the corporate world. Antoine has a deep love for his home neighborhood of Dorchester and leads Crossroads Ministries, a neighborhood-based ministry seeking the flourishing of DOT. In his free time, he enjoys, DJ'ing, working with area recording artists, and running his own sports podcast.
